Financial aid means money that will help the cost of colleges, and universities. They will be helpful if the school you apply to is a bit out of your reach because of its expenses.

YES! If you come from a low income family, it is extremely beneficial for you to apply for financial aid. If you do not come from a low income family it is still beneficial for you to apply for scholarships as tuition for colleges & universities are over thousands of dollars.

FAFSA
FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. By completing and submitting a FAFSA (only one per student) the student will receive money to cover their future education.

Fastweb
Fastweb is a website that will require you to provide information like your age, graduation year, gender, email,etc. (Not things like your social security, or anything too personal) This is to match you with scholarships that you can apply for as you might meet the requirements. This is a reliable and great website. You can receive email notifications for a new scholarship! Just make sure to write down the scholarships you apply for as they can appear again when you log back in, there fore you don't apply to one only but many.
